martin oldgoth writes his name in lower case, he likes it like that.
There are not many DJ's in the goth and dark alt scenes for whom the word 'infamous' can be used but martin oldgoth is one of them. Starting in 1985, over the years he has built a reputation that today sees him at the forefront of his field, and the DJ of choice for many special events.
This has seen him called upon to DJ the 25th anniversary Batcave reunion for Specimen, and to work alongside such leading names as Alien Sex Fiend at both their 25th & 30th anniversary shows, The Mission UK for the 25th Anniversary homecoming aftershow party and again for a number of their 30th anniversary shows.
Over the years he has worked at events as far afield as Wave Gotik Treffen (DE), The original Whitby Goth Weekend (UK), A Murder of Crows (US) as well as several UK, Euro & US clubs. In 2014 he toured across the US, 2016 saw an eight date European tour and 2020 saw him celebrating 35 years of doing 'stuff'.
martin oldgoth spins goth, post punk and dark stuff he thinks people might like. He currently co-runs Mondlicht, a quarterly club night in London and is a regular DJ for NYC's 'A Murder of Crows'
After what felt like years I'm now back in the real world following an amazing weekend in New York DJing at A Murder of Crows. I'll be slowly adding more shows and dates to both Twitch and live shows over the next few months, keep checking!

Absolutely honoured to have been asked to play a few tunes between bands during this amazing line up in New York City:
New Year Tarantella II
Dec, 31 09:00 PM
On New Year's Eve, four DJs will come together to see in the New Year again with a mix of goth, post-punk, new wave, new romantic and other dark goodness. The night will run from 9pm until 2am, so we advise arriving promptly, to be in time to celebrate the New Year at midnight in style.
We're hoping to provide a fun night for people who've supported us over the years, and to carve out a small oasis in the craziness of New Year's Eve, for like-minded people to dance to some great tunes. We're deliberately underselling the capacity so it's still comfortable and there's space to dance.
Advance tickets are £8, from this site (You will not receive an 'actual' ticket, just keeping a list of who bought them to check on the door): https://nyetarantella.weebly.com/
Payment on the door will be £10 (cash only), and subject to space being available. Dress code: goth/dark alternative, it doesn't need to be particularly fancy or extreme but we do reserve the right to turn away anyone not dressed appropriately, even if they have a ticket.
Venue: The Other Place (basement of The Albany pub), 240 Great Portland Street London W1W 5QU We hope to see you there!
