Born 1987, 26 year old Rapper/Songwriter "Definetly" from the outskirts of Chicago,IL is making some serious noise online and in the streets after dropping two mixtapes titled "Almost Left Behind" and "Isolated and AntiSocial" which were Hosted by DJ/Super-Producer "Jonny Quest".
Definetly's musical career began when him and two long time friends started a rap group called "Red-Alert" in their early teens. They found much success opening for several shows including T-Pain and though they had much talent, as they matured their group slowly started to grow in opposite directions. Noticing this Def had no other choice but to go his separate way and begin his career as a solo artist.
In early 2009 Def teamed up with DJ/Super-Producer Jonny Quest and decided to focus on his dream of becoming a successful rapper and immediately began working on his first 5 song original production EP. After several months of intense studio sessions Def and J-Quest dropped the EP which raved great reviews from his local fan base and online with his upbeat commercial sound.
After the EP dropped Def needed to make a decision on whether he wanted to pursue a career as a commercial/POP Hip Hop artist or his dream which was to create his own lane and sound as a rapper. Def became an addict for his musical direction dropping back to back mixtapes titled "Almost Left Behind" and "Isolated and AntiSocial" which both had great local success and led him to many performances including opening up for Mac Miller in Orlando, FL.
Now with Def's sound developed nothing is going to stop him from achieving his dreams and he is in the lab working hard on his next new original production album dropping Summer 2014.
