Desmond Jones is a five-piece funk//rock//jazz fusion group out of Grand Rapids, Michigan. The group formed in 2012 and has played all over the Midwest, Colorado, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia with groups like The Werks, Dopapod, EOTO, Kung Fu, Tauk, UV Hippo, Here Come the Mummies, Joe Hertler and the Rainbow Seekers, The Main Squeeze, Consider the Source, Melvin Seals and JGB, The Verve Pipe, Badfish- Sublime Tribute, Domestic Problems and many more.
With unique and original compositions, Desmond Jones blends melodic guitar riffs with an electrifying saxophone, groovy bass lines, and funky drums in order to create an upbeat and high energy live show.

Hoodilidoo Music Festival is coming up!
We are excited to be returning to Hoodilidoo Music Festival in Grand Junction, MI! It will be our second year at this premiere local band festival with our good friends Fried Egg Nebula, That Freak Quincy, Pleasant Drive, and more. See you there!
Wisconsin/Chicago Weekend Run
After 20 hours of driving, hundreds of miles traveled, and one busted tire, we made it to Grateful Friends Fest in Gay Mills, Wisconsin! It was our first show outside of Michigan and we had a great time at the festival that included performances by The Giving Tree Band and Melvin Seals and JGB.
While we were stranded on the highway with a busted tire for 5 hours on Thursday, we made some calls and booked two last minute gigs in Chicago for Satruday night.
Saturday night we played back-to-back shows at Phyllis' Musical Inn in Wicker Park, and Silvie's Lounge in Wrigleyville. It was a great weekend! Thanks to everyone who came out!
