A now humble but still ready for the world man in every aspect of life it's mega artist Dramatized Da True Steppa whose birth name is Derrick Lenford. He is a proud farther, son, uncle, cousin, friend and mentor to his family, friends and fans aswell as everybody worldwide with a push to make sure that his love ones will also prosper and change lives positively while keeping GOD1st. He was born on July 30th (#leo) in Dallas Texas (South Oak Cliff) but also raised in Fort Worth Texas (Eastwood), Houston Texas (3rd Ward) and Baytown Texas (The Village) plus lived in various other cities across the country. He is the youngest of his biological siblings consisting of two brothers with the oldest being Previn Lenford who is now deceased and his brother Roy Rivers Jr. who is locked up in a one man cell 23 hours a day at an Aggravated Segregated Texas prison doing 40 years aggravated for numerous gang related and other 1st degree felonies along with one sister name Shawna Lenford who is also incarcerated with a 22 year sentence for murder. He also has numerous step-brothers and step-sisters. Dramatized is an aspiring black american rap artist, song writer, producer, engineer, actor, director, mentor, inventor and entrepreneur.

As a young child, he started his career writing poetry but soon developed an impressive talent for drawing and could draw just about anything in his elementary school. Although Dramatized had a passion for both drawing and poetry, he chose to stick with the latter (poetry). While in elementary school, Dramatized managed to incorporate his real life poetry story into a rap song and performed it at his elementary school talent show. He won his first music trophy and from that day on he knew what his passion was in life and pursued it to the fullest.
By the time he was in junior high school, Dramatized had formed a group with Arron Kindles aka AK Spade(now deceased) and Theron James (now multi-producer Sir Draper owner of Draped up Muzik) called “3 Da Hard Way” inwhich back then Dramatized was known by his very first artist name, D-Might. His group was so popular that they became the main attraction for all talent shows while attending Dunbar High School. The group later separated after Dramatized moved to Houston briefly after the 10th grade. During this time he lived back and forth between notorious schools and rough gang related neighborhoods in Ft. Worth, Houston and Baytown but as of now Houston (H-Town), Dallas (D-Town), Baytown (Dirty Bay) Texas is where the majority of his biological family still resides to this day.
Living between Ft. Worth and Houston for next few years Dramatized began to lose his passion for music and became deeper involved with gang life and the drug game. He grew up in that life which he was being accused of various notorious and violent street crimes in mutiple cities and states which always ended up having no merit plus lack of evidence. However he was busted for distribution of an uncontroled substance which lead to his first incarceration. He was convicted and served a three year prison term for that particular case. Soon after being released Dramatized was back in custody for pistol whooping and shooting at a man and the man’s girlfriend. He was convicted and served almost two years in prison for deadly conduct. After being released, he went back to Houston and decided to pursue his dream as a rap artist again.
While upholding his very first job at a Grocery store in Baytown, TX. he met Joseph Ledet Jr. (J-Level), producer/manager/founder of D.R.A.G. Constructions record label inwhich D.R.A.G. stands for Da Real Azz Groovez. He had then changed his name from D-Might to Lil Drama and headed back into the studio where he produced five underground albums inwhich his OUTLANDEREALISTIC SOULJA album eventually lead to a distribution deal through the now defunct Southwest Wholesale Records & Distribution based in Houston, TX. He has also performed on tour in various national fashion shows with major models and aspiring models aswell as working with aspiring and active actors such as the italian actor Andrew Dillon and the 'Purple Rose' perfume owner/actor/model Tanya Francis to elevate his multi-career skills into movies/films/commercials because he has way more talents to display rather than just rapping about his life.
Dramatized was well on his way to super stardom when he was shot but manage to also shoot his attacker in Baytown, TX. He managed to pull through with the worst wounds in both his legs. Two months later while still recovering from the incident (but well enough to go back on the road), Dramatized found himself in another shootout in Amarillo TX. and sustained several life threating gunshot wounds. He passed away twice during surgery but miraculously pulled through.
After healing from that encounter, Dramatized would later find himself incarcerated for the next five years. While in prison with another shot at freedom and music, Dramatized made up his mind to live his dreams and began to educate himself while locked up. Once released, he changed his name for the final time to Dramatized Da True Steppa which is self-explanitory throughout his life of true/vivid testomonials and survival so he pursued his dreams again and he wasn't taking “'no” for an answer.
In early 2013 his cousin (Tristan King) introduced him to Kenneth “DJ Bigg Ken” Johnson at The Kitchen Studios in Dallas, TX. Bigg Ken noticed Dramatized aggression and passion and signed him to his 4535 Music with distribution for Dramatized through 4535 Music Distribution label (4535music.com) and the rest was history in the making. In 2014 mainstream radio station 99 Jams WJMI in Jackson, Ms. was the first to play his smash hit single "Club Anthem(Show Out)" and then Dramatized went on to win KiKi J's (Street Swagg Sunday 9'oclock Knockout) a total of four(4) times in a row at K104-fm mainstream radio station with "Club Anthem(Show Out)" plus his hit twerk single called "She Wanna" can be found on Pandora with the official music video airing on Pandora Tv. His "Knock U Out" and "Purple Rose" videos can both be seen airing on Texavision Cable Tv (Texavision.com). Now that it's a new year and Dramatized has elevated as an artist at 4535 Music and he's forever affiliated with much respect for the guidance along with genuine love that he endures daily while helping catapult it into a worldwide major independent powerhouse label. With all terms and conditions steady being met throughout the years of hard work he has put in mixed with the blessings he consistantly achieves while at 4535 Music & Distribution where he greatly appreciates the experiences he's learning as well as the good times shared.
