Biography

Geno L. Gardner (Geno) a native of Chicago’s West suburbs grew up in the city known for producing rap artist and R&B singers/groups. Geno grew up listening and expressing himself within the rap genre. At the age of 10 Geno began writing his first form of rap lyrics, using old-school records (Dusties) as his background music.

This later evolved into more advanced writings and freestyle sessions. But this did not complete Geno’s journey…While in High school Geno and two other comrades decided to form a rap group later known as (Laced Intercession) at the age of 17, West Suburban R&B group (Debonaire) recognized the young teen’s gift and requested that he feature on their album. Geno humbly accepted the request and this was only the beginning of his life in the recording booth.

As faith and destiny would have it, Geno committed his life to Christ in the year of 2000 in Waegwan , Korea . God, in His infinite knowledge and wisdom, christened him into His Kingdom. As Geno dedicated his life to the studying of scriptures, praying in communication with God and fasting, his love for Christ began to flourish. In December of 2001, God destined that Geno would cross paths with (the late) Alloyisious Onyeka Alams a.k.a. Eklezia. After Alloyisious Alams completed his military tour at Ft. Hood, he was introduced to Geno, who at the time was still on active duty in the U.S. Army. Both men met and a few months later formed a group known as the Gospel O.N.E.S. (Ongoing Never Ending Source) and, thus, began the journey of the Gospel O.N.E.S, a gospel rap group with the message of Christ; a message of hope to the faint-hearted, joy to the broken-hearted, restoration to the despaired, God’s benevolent blessings to the downtrodden, and salvation to those in captivity. The Gospel O.N.E.S. immediately started to work on their first album entitled “God’s Proclamation” in 2003.

This stimulated the hearts and minds of God’s people who then desired to hear more! Gospel O.N.E.S. quickly responded to their supporters. In the fall of 2004 they began working on their second Album entitled “The Application”. While in the final stages of completion of this project, the Gospel O.N.E.S. were hit with a devastating blow. On May of 2006 it was heart wrenching to announce to the Body of Christ and Gospel Music Industry that (The late) Onyeka Onyeka Alams (aka Eklezia) had been called home to be with Jesus at the age of 27. Even after his demise, his voice continues to uplift and inspire lost souls to evaluate their lives and come to Christ. His departure from this life has caused Geno L. Gardner to press even the more towards the completion of their group album, the institution of his first solo project and continue with their vision….To reach the entire world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ! As an ambassador of the Kingdom of God and a servant of Jesus Christ, Geno serves as a minister of the gospel of Christ Jesus. He has ministered on several occasions to various audiences, preaching the word of God through anointing, revelation, knowledge and wisdom.

As an artist, he has accomplished the same, performing at elementary and college functions, countless youth rally’s, talent shows and banquets in various locations throughout the great state of Texas, Tennessee and overseas (Korea) all for the Glory of our God Jesus Christ.
