Kuro San Biography
Hip Hop is yearning for something special. An artist possessing all the elements of a true MC. Kuro-San, the 21 year old poet, artist and songwriter, signed to the BYTC label, flawlessly fuses, the sound of today with the organic feel of the 90's. "I was born into Hip Hop so it was inevitable that I'd fall in love with the craft," Kuro-San says, "it's like being a student of the game; it's a race of it's own," he finishes. The young gunner brings remembrance of a time when raw, metaphoric deliveries, that enchanted the mind and brought stories to life through a rhyme, ruled the industry.
Kuro-San means black in Japanese. He was born in Boston, MA and 1st made his way in the Boston music scene in 2013, as an aspiring artist under the BYTC Free Hip Hop Movement. He displayed his gift for lyricism, imagery and concepts, plus set himself as a proficient poet while attending his high school, Codman Acedemy. With the ability to transform his poetry into rhymes with substance and an irrestible rhyme pattern, he united with groups and fellow artist such as the "Silva Kingz" forming "LeftSide" featuring on records like "My Pack", "I Don't Know" with King Mani. proving his legitamacy as a lyricist with charism that's truly indeniable. Kuro-San continued to develop at a very high rate and became determined to stand on his own as a lyricist and songwriter. Within two years, he was able to create two insanely dope and ingenius projects called "Senior Year"; a mixtape illustrating his trials and experiences attempting to get through high school as a teenager; plus "Divine Demolition" depicting the becoming of a young man living in the grit of the inner city. Both exhibited an emergance of an incredible storyteller with the ability to organize words in a way to visually paint pictures through songs and a delivery that draws you to his authenticity and realness of his material.
"I would like my audiences to see me as I am; I want them to get a chance to see how I see things," Kuro-San says, "Hell, maybe we can see something new together, ya know," he continues. Now ready to set his mark as the face of the BYTC label. He is currently preparing a project using his surroundings and awareness to build the foundation of his body of work. You will continuously feel him tugging at the medulla lyrically with similes, storylines and vivid pictures painted through words.
