Dr. Frankensteez (aka Mister Jason as Producer, DJ), The Monster (aka K-No Supreme as MC) & Ygor (aka Rain as Co-Producer, Engineer) fuse together to form Frankensteez.
After his last official release in 2004 with the critically acclaimed Porn Theatre Ushers' "Taxachusetts" LP, Mister Jason is back with a brand new bag of tricks. This time he comes equip with his most innovative project "Frankensteez" which features a collaboration of his many styles, guests and even live instrumentation for the first time. "Frankensteez" is classic hip-hop, fused by many different genres and flavors, a "frankenstein" of styles.
The first single, "Mister Jason has a Posse", from this soon to be talked about masterpiece will go down in history as one of the most unique posse cuts of all time! It consists of 26 MCs representing each letter of the alphabet, each spitting rapid-fire 4 liners.
Guests include local Boston based rappers whom Jason has had past success with, and also features a group of heavy hitters that are first time collabo's. The all star list includes Boston based MC's Akrobatik (who sets the tone of the track with the letter A), Bad Newz, CheckMark (Skitzofreniks), D-Tension, Esoteric, Force Field (of Top Choice Clique), EDO. G, Masstapeace, I.D., Jaysaun (Kreators, Special Teamz), K-NO Supreme (Falsehood, Wasted Talent & the main MC on the Frankensteez album), DJ Paul Foley (Falsehood, Wasted Talent), Richie the midge kid (Falsehood), Moe Pope (Project Move, Life After God), Nabo Rawk (Porn Theatre Ushers), REKS, Slaine (Special Teams, La Coka Nostra) and Termanology. If that wasn't enough, Jason enlisted brand new posse members including Q-Unique (Arsonists), Thirstin Howell, Ugly Duckling, YZ and last but not least J-Zone himself.
