Born in southwest Detroit Nevik Sewil grew up listening to music. By age twelve he mastered his craft particularly in playing the saxophone. By the age of sixteen he was playing backup for Al Green at Watts Mozambique Night Club in the heart of Detroit. Unlike most musicians who credit other artist as their influences Nevik credits his parents for always believing in him, and teaching him the values of hard work.

Nevik Sewil has spent a lifetime touring and performing in front of crowds. In the new digital era he's ready to make his mark on a new generation of fans who enjoy a classical feel in music. With that in mind Nevik is gearing up for a big 2016.
