Peter Linus or better known by his Stage name PITA, (Praise In This Age) is an indepedent recording Gospel Artist born, bred and based in lagos, Nigeria.

Born in the early eighties (December 27th)into a diverse musical family, PITA  has been surrounded by music his entire life, no Stranger to the stage,lights, audiences and loud applauses, at the tender age of seven this vessel has been wowing audiences with his fresh  vocals and passion for all things music and God.
His career began at the Upper room missions Church, Lagos, Nigeria where pita sang as part of the childrens choir, taking the lead role and likewise training other kids, growing in creativity and confidence. This child prodigy pursued his passion even into his teen years, forming a gospel acapella group with friends by the name 'Babysheart'. The band comprised of a six man band and six breathe taking tight harmonies that captivated the hearts of their audience, without comprising the message of cross, the group toured many churches, univeristy campuses across lagos and Nigeria, gaining popularity and drawing national attention. Needless to say Babysheart was just the beginning of pitas dynamic minstry in music and career, pita and babysheart still tour till  date, although pita has since become an Independent recording Artist.
What began as a child prodigy at the Upper missions church  has now shaped  this young man into one of Nigerias most sought after talents, now a vocalist/ singer-songwriter/composer and producer. Till date Pita made over 1,000 live appearances on shows/events and even hitting radio stations across the country, collaborating some of Africas most renown gospel artists such as Segun Obe, Olufunmi and Tosin Martins.
During the Nigerian presidential campaign pita penned 'one man' a theme song for the elections calling all nigerians to vote for transparent leadership and justice for fellow countrymen, no sooner this became a radio hit single across lagos.
Invigorating vocals, uplifting beats,Canny instruments and creativity have been taken pita into the recording studios, and the result is his undeniably brilliant debut album 'As I am'
The album speaks vloumes of this young talents heart , combing a hybrid of soft rock and ballads, (Imela)  to the Contemporary Pop sounds of (So Amazing) and the classic resonance of (One Man) The album also combines musical artistry with heart warming lyrics, engaging listeners into a journey of discovering Gods faithfulness. Currently on Itunes the album has now launched pita on the international platform, with sales distrubtion in the UK and the USA. Without a doubt this young talent is not about to slow down, he has recently completed shooting the video sequel to the number radio hit single 'Imela' shot in Lagos City.
Like a run away train pita continues to soar in his career without losing sight of his vision which has always been to draw his audience to God through his lyrics and music.
