Miss Portia, born in Baton Rouge, LA. has been singing with her parents since she could speak. Portia was no stranger to performing. She has always had a special love for acting, singing, dancing, writing and reciting poetry. In high school, she added choreography to her resume. Most of Portia’s singing was done modestly in church and local plays until the end of her Military term. Portia’s was introduced to the Blues by her Father but only once got to met the late great Ms. Jackie Neal.

Miss Portia's first southern soul charting came in April 2015 with the "My Sidepiece Reply" and again in December of 2016 as part of the Ross Music Group aggregation singing "Zydeco Blues & Trail Ride (ZBT Anthem)". She also won the ZBT Best New Artist Award Decemeber 2017.

Her latest single “It's Gone Cost You (To Ride This Pony)" kicks off this repetitive, in-your-face dance chant by a young lady whose sheer "want-to" grows and transforms in power before your very eyes.

Miss Portia first album “All in My Feelings,”  has Artist featured from Mr. Tyree Neal, Big Pokey, and Ms. Lacee Groove. It was Produced by Beatflippa under Ross Music Group. 

She has since released her new "My Life is Imperfect" album with a range of Artist features such as Cupid and Corey Ledet . Miss Portia will continue to bring the grooves to a city near you.
