Rayshawn Carson has been singing since he was six years old and was taught to love the Lord with all his heart by his late grandmother. By the age of sixteen, he was the choir director and worship leader for a local church in Decatur GA. Rayshawn quickly discovered that he had a gift to relate to people. When he song, people listened. Rayshawn Carson began his career as a performer, singing with artist like Multiple Grammy Award Super Star Usher Raymond and Ciara. Rayshawn Carson has also done background vocals with Rock n Roll Super Star Ed Rolland of Collective Soul. As Rayshawn Carson traveled with these artists, he knew that his heart belonged to God and that he wanted to sing praises to him. As a result, Rayshawn began writing and singing lyrics with a positive message and music that inspired people to never give up on their futures and keep pushing forward regardless of the uncomfortable circumstances. With this mindset, Doors began to open for Rayshawn Carson. Rayshawn Carson was blessed to minister as a background singer for artist like Martha Munizzi, Darwin Hobbs, LeAndria Johnson, and Tye Tribbett. While ministering with these Worship leaders and learning the true meaning of worship. Rayshawn developed a new desire to bring people into the deeper realms of God’s glory through praise and worship.

Through years of training, teaching, and serving under some amazing leaders, Rayshawn Carson launched his solo career as a Contemporary Christian artist and Worship Leader. He has been traveling all over the nation blessing the hearts of many through his music ministry and has opened up for various gospel artists including Donald Lawrence, Kurt Carr, Tamela Mann, Joshua Rogers, Joann Rosario Condrey, Smokie Norful, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Lecrae, and John P. Kee. Rayshawn Carson has also shared the stage with Gospel Legend Shirley Ceaser. As Rayshawn leads worship and ministers, an atmosphere for healing, the prophetic, and the manifested presence of God takes place so that liberty is birth in the lives of people that experience his music ministry.

Rayshawn is currently the Worship Leader at Greater Anointing Christian Fellowship in Riverdale, GA, and a licensed minister in the Lord’s Church. Rayshawn not only have a passion for music, but also has a passion for acting. Rayshawn has starred as Curtis in the hit stage musical Dreamgirls, Tin-Man in the classic hit musical The Wiz, Jim in timeless musical Big River: The Adventure of Huckleberry Finn, and Collins in one of the greatest musical ever, RENT. Rayshawn Carson has also had the opportunity to play small roles in Tyler Perry's The Have and the Have Nots. Rayshawn Carson is also a motivational speaker, preacher and teacher with aspirations of doing many philanthropic works throughout the world. Rayshawn Carson has an agape love towards all humanity and enjoys being a blessing to ministries, community organizations, families, friends, and even strangers.
