New York City singer/songwriter Samantha Marinaro - an artist who’s mastered a brilliant mixture of pop, rock, and soul - is working on her next release. The Harlem artist will once again feature undeniably catchy lyrics and melodies as heard on her debut album, “I Told You This Would Happen" & follow up single "Mastermind."
Samantha moved to New York City and worked to produce her first release. The album features a mixture of rock-pop radio tracks, combined with a series of soulful ballads. Influenced mostly by Amy Winehouse, Samantha's music is a mixture of pop and soul. The album release was followed by a series of performances around the Northeast and Midwest, where Samantha began collaborating with other musicians around the city. During this time, the inception of the “Mastermind” took place and was released. Some time after, development began on the next project. It wasn't until more recently that the project finally wrapped and got its release date.
Samantha is releasing a project titled "High For This," a virtual and visual project that highlights the new single. There will be new opportunities to interact and join the lair of Samantha Marinaro Music. Stay tuned!
*MASTERMIND* is out now! On all digital platforms for purchase and stream. Link below!

Happy to have "Lonely World" as the new free download at www.SamanthaMarinaro.com! I wrote a little bit about the song since it seems to be one people enjoy the most, and one that means a lot to me.
"Lonely World" was definitely the most unexpected studio experience. Last minute we decided to book a drummer to do live drums on the track, and he was absolutely amazing. It set a whole new energy around the song and it was a crazy emotional experience for me. I never imagined a song I wrote because I felt like I had no one that cared, would make so many grown men sing it along with me at the top of their lungs.
I'm so proud of all I've accomplished and the people I've become connected to, but I can't say I still don't relate to this song in certain ways since I wrote it exactly 4 years ago. This song is intense for me, still, to sing and perform. I always get so happy when I see people sing it with me and say it's their favorite, because it's a song I wrote for myself. I love that something so beautiful came out of such a hard time. I hope you all enjoy.

"I Still Want You" is now activated as a free download on www.SamanthaMarinaro.com under the "Listen" tab. Enjoy!
