Sharo "Shy" Perry had the honor of being nominated for 3 Josie Music Awards 2019, which recognizes the work of Independent Music Artists'. Sharo was nominated for Artist of the Year, Vocalist of the Year, and Album of the Year for her new album Brand New Day, R&B/Soul Category.Brand New Day has reached #30 on the Independent Blues Broadcasters Association (IBBA) in the UK and is receiving airplay in U.S. cities, in other countries like France, The Netherlands, Italy, and in the UK.
Sharo has performed her original music across the USA to Hong Kong, China, the European Blues Cruise in Marseille, France, to Jakarta, Indonesia. Sharo comes from a musical family and performs with her father, legendary bluesman Bill Howl-N-Madd Perry.
Sharo was nominated for "Artist Of The Year" by the Josie Awards and her CD "SHY” advanced to Round Two of the IBC best self-produced CD competition. Sharo teaches vocals as a way to mentor and inspire young musicians.

Shy Perry performed 3 shows at the 11th Mississippi Delta Blues Festival in Caxias Do Sul, Brazil. Shy performed on the Magnolia Stage that was exclusively for women. Shy had a 6 date tour with shows in Lajeado, Santa Maria, and Porto Alegre.
