THE BLOCK BROTHAS are a dynamic duo that were born and raised on the rough yet historic streets of Harlem Nyc. The Block Brothas are not only from the same block but they are actual biological brothers.

      Though the two grew up on the mean streets of harlem they chose to go a different route. Eric who is the older brother and prefers to be called by his stage name "Ejay" and Jermaine the younger brother who goes by the handle J.Smiles took their harlem swag, ambition, and  talents and decided to go to college. Both brothers successfully completed their 4 yr degree in their chosen fields.

     The brothers may have went to college but both have been passionate about making music for many years. They started rapping at the young ages of 14 and 15  and put out their first official project in early 2006 called lights cameras, smas'em. In their earlier stages they have done tracks with artist like Jr write and have opened up for former dipset member jha jha, and a few other up and coming artiist.

    Fast forward some seven yrs later and the Block Brothas are still  ambitiously pursuing their dreams of making it in the wonderfu but vicious music industry and  their is no one word to describe the dynamic duo.

  They have since had the oppurtunity to open up for some bigger names in the game. While attending Delaware State University they have opened up for MMG'S own Rick Ross, Meek Mill & Wale.  

    Another one of their greatest accomplishments to date was being a part of the BET Black College Tour stop at Bethune Cookman College where they were also afforded the opputunity to open up for Cash Out and grace the stage with other artist such as Trina and Marsha Ambrosia.

    These two cats make music for all genres. The only way for one to understand why these two are called the dopest duo to ever come out of Harlem Nyc, one would have to follow these guys and listen to their music.
