Tonya Sherwood has been singing in the church for years. As a worship leader, special music soloist or with the choir, Tonya loves to Glorify the name of Jesus. Tonya enjoys singing to veterans, civic organizations, weddings or just around the house especially at Christmas. Tonya was born to sing.

MS T, as some have called her, has a voice that has been compared with the late great Karen Carpenter and the amazing Emmy Lou Harris and others. She has won various contests vocalizing with others. She loves all the performers and honors all musicians as the artists they were created to be.

Tonya is a worshipper, but her favorite genre is Country Music in any form. She has recently finished her first studio album in which she has either written or co-written most songs.

Adding arraigning, recording, co-producing to her singer - songwriter badge, Tonya has completed a wonderful melodic mix of music that will have you in tears or riding in the car with her as you drive down a small-town Georgia road or through the wide open country checking fences. Born in a small town she recalls growing up riding through the fields on horse back with her friends.
