Hailing from Jersey in the Channel Islands, Adam played trumpet on the hit musical "Jersey Boys" at the Piccadilly Theatre in London's West End between 2015-2017. He attended the University of Surrey graduating with 1st Class Honours before accepting a scholarship to the Trinity College of Music, London where he was awarded a Post Graduate Diploma with distinction.
Adam has studied with some of the most respected trumpeters in the UK including Brian Thompson, Mark Bennett, Mike Lovatt, Paul Mayes and Edward Maxwell and he enjoys a varied freelance and session career in a myriad of musical settings: Recordings, performances and tours with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, performances with artists including Dame Shirley Bassey, Dionne Warwick, Amy Winehouse, Rose Royce, Rumer, Omar and Jamie Cullum, and with many London-based Jazz and Big Bands.
He is also sought after as a theatre musician working in many West-End productions including (amongst others) "Evita", "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat", "The Wizard of Oz”, “Wicked”, "Spamalot", “Sister Act”, “Oliver”, “Betty Blue Eyes”, "Kinky Boots" and “Aladdin". He was involved in the Singapore and Malaysian tours of "My Fair Lady" and has also performed "Chicago" in Kuala Lumpur.
Adam has performed with a who’s who of British Jazz including Sir John Dankworth, Dame Cleo Laine, Stan Tracey and Guy Barker (to name a few), as well as with classical music stars such as Lesley Garrett and Blake. He was a soloist in the John Barry Memorial Concert at the Royal Albert Hall and has broadcast live on Classic FM. Television work has included BBC 1's "Strictly Come Dancing" and ITV's "Simply The Best". Not afraid of the odd costume or two, Adam can be found performing with the renowned "Miss Disco" (www.missdisco.co.uk) and Band Theft Audio (www.bandtheftaudio.com) at many festivals and functions throughout the country.
Adam is the brass specialist for the Thomas London Day School in Battersea and is in demand as a private teacher. 2013 saw the release of Adam’s first solo recording, “The Glory of the Baroque”, featuring works for trumpet and organ.
