Biography

Alisha Moore is a native of Northern Kentucky who always had a passion and love for the arts. Alisha’s interest in rap and breakdancing grew in the early 80’s where she also found a desire and love for Emceeing. Alisha was a member of the well-known 90’s gospel rap group A-1 S.W.I.F.T, who signed with the iconic Vicki Mack Lataillade’s Gospo-Centric record label based out of Los Angeles and released two albums; the1992 debut “Turn Yourself Around” featuring the late Gospel legend Darly Coley, and their follow up album “Tales from the Swift” with guest appearance from Bishop Noel Jones.
Produced by legendary music producers Buster and Shavoni of We Fly Music, both albums peaked on Gospel Billboard charts with lyrics that were brilliant, spiritual and introspective.
A Dove and Stellar nominee and recipient of the Pioneer Award for Christian Hip Hop, Alisha has performed alongside many well known artists such as Kirk Franklin and God’s Property, Trinitee 5:7 and Gospel Gangstaz.
With appearances on several national television shows including Nickelodeon’s All That, Soul Train, Good Morning America, Showtime at the Apollo, David Letterman and Billboard Awards, to name a few, her resurgence in the Gospel industry has been long awaited.
Alisha is the mother of three and believes in teaching them, through her life, the “blueprint” for success. Alisha holds two Bachelor’s degrees, a Master’s degree and is currently working in the field of Marketing and Public Relations. Holding fast to her unwavering faith in God, Alisha believes in not just talking the talk but being an example to others through her life!!
