Ampsterdam is that "WHO" and "WHAT" the new world is "LOOKING" and  "LISTENING" for! This seasoned Proffessional Columbia, South Carolina native SUPER MUSICIAN is without a doubt, a lyrical wizard  and the pen is his magic wand. Spending the last 13 years mastering  his  musical craft and getting familiarized with the "business" part of the entertainment world. Ampsterdam has become a proffessional world-class recording artist and entertainer.  

Born Anthony Michael Marsh on October 18th, 1984 in San Diego,  California. The name Ampsterdam derives in one part from Anthony's  nick name "AMP" given to him by his family almost from birth. The nick  name "Amp" could also characterise his high energy lyrics and  explosive "amplified" performances being "Amped up". In third part he took on the name  after Leonardo Dicaprio's character "Ampsterdam"in the popular motion  picture "Gangs of New York". Like Anthony, Decaprio's character"  Ampsterdam", grew up without a father in a city where the replacement  to a father figure's honor and discipline, may very well be a gang of  hoods who pride themeselves in being fighters. This to Amp was all too  familiar. So having grown up being influenced by the inner-city lifestyle  of hippies, pimps, playas, gangstas, and husstlas; As well as having a multi- cultural upbringing in part to his mixed ethnicity, Amp began to convey  the lifestyles he had seen and lived through writing music. Having  grown up on both the west coast and dirty south style of gangsta rap. He  carfefull began Mixing gangsta rap wtih a splash of R&B, a dash of rock,  and an ounce of pop music. After getting the flavor and results he  wanted out of his finished product. He coined the phrase "SUPER  MUSIC". When asked why he mixes so many gneres of music he will always quote the late Bruce Lee by saying, "a master of art should never limit themselves to only one style". So all of the artistic styles together make a superior artist. Hense the name, Super Music. He calls it, the new  music For the New World. 

 With a small local following of an original indie song he wrote and recorded entitiled "Pornstar", under his alius "A ONE",  Amp began to see his crossover style of music as the cutting edge. He then realized that if he learned more about the business of music and became more proffessional, he could seriously become a musical threat, looking  to box in the entertainment industry with his multi-talent. With several hundred underground releases under his alius A  one since 2005, He has pretty much cemented his place in the always  growing underground music world. So it was only right that after mastering his musical talent and business savy he developed a new  image in his new alius Ampsterdam. Working with such famous indie artist and producers  as Mack-A-Don, Slim O.G., Tweet South President of Head Hunter  Records, Juice AKA  Mr. Quantum Beats, Mickey Wall of Creative Audio  Recording, Young Fresh, Royal T, and Top Flow Key of Top Flow Entertainment, Bllake Stonez, Kasper The Ghost of Ganja Goonz, and Omen of Just Blazez famous Stadium Red Studios in  Harlem, NY. His newest project "LIMITLESS"  Ampsterdam's  freshman album executive produced by the Juice Man of Quantum Beats himself,  shall  prove to be an undeniable hit. With his Hometown Columbia buzzen and loyal  fanbase demanding more music. Ampsterdam has surely become a hot  commodity in the underground entertainment industry. ITS TIME TO GO  MAINSTREAM.

With a white hankerchiff, or as he calls it, "white flag" adornig his left  pocket at all times. Ampsterdam leads a peace movement called THE  WHITE FLAG ARMY. A new age form of promoting peace through music,  in a more popular, urban, contemporary fashion; To a new  more racy  generation of cutting edge young adults, demanding something to follow  RIGHT NOW. This type of peace marketing is new, unique, and very eye  catching. Amp also heads BBE or Big Bank Entertainment Media llc along with  Team Ampsterdam, into the LIMITLESS project . The projects name  could almost explain itself if you knewAmpsterdampersonally.  LIMITLESS the album is a reflection of Amp's "do what you can, and live  how you will" as long as you are not harming anything or anyone, mindstate. The albums content touches on his personal  struggles with life and his career in music. It also lets you in on his  dreams, aspirations, forsight, and world views as well. This project is his  best work ever.
