Singing pianist Amy Wilson has mined the Great American Songbook, entertaining audiences with her eclectic blend of torch songs, boogie-woogie, swing, jazz, soul and even a touch of Patsy Cline. From Atlanta's Four Seasons Hotel and the Historic Fox Theater's Egyptian Ballroom to the Tabernacle and the Northside Tavern, she has had quite the breadth of musical experience. She appeared on the television program “Good Day Atlanta” playing the piano with “Big Bill Morganfield,” the son of blues legend Muddy Waters. She also played with “Big Bossman,” Little Jimmy Reed, as well as many other talented blues, rock, R & B and jazz musicians.
A former Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra principal flutist, she teaches 40 piano and flute students at her home studio and plays at weddings, parties and nightclubs in the Atlanta and West Georgia area.
A versatile soloist, performing vocals, piano and flute selections, she can also perform as an accompanist or enlist other musicians to form a combo for your event.
