Formed in late 2016, Ashen Crown are a Midlands based Metal band whose hybrid style draws influence from many of Metals sub-genres. Most notable bands that influence their sound are; Bolt Thrower, At the Gates, Benediction, Pantera, Sylosis, Gojira, Slayer, Obituary, Death, Lamb of God, Mastodon and Hypocrisy.
With a Strong set of material, the band took to stage for their successful live debut early March 2017. Two weeks later the band began their Wolverhampton Metal to the Masses campaign, progressing to and winning the Grand - Final in late May 2017. Whilst moving forward with a steady momentum, Ashen Crown laid waste to a packed out New Blood Stage at Bloodstock Festival 2017. A hugely successful major festival debut for such a young band, cementing them in the ranks of Bloodstock Alumni with rave reviews.
Gaining a reputation for an aggressive, energetic live show and earning respect from peers and promoters, the band have since gone on to support the likes of King Parrot, Memoriam, Obituary and Broken Hope with huge success. This has no doubt helped secure them slots on 2018 festivals such as Amplified, Manor Fest and HRH Metal Meltdown, with more amazing shows in the pipeline.
Alongside the live shows, they have also begun working on their debut EP (due for release late 2018) and released their debut single / video April 2018. Their previous demo releases have already been well received and earned Radio / Podcast play across the UK, Europe and USA.
