Carter Banks is fresh off his debut EP, Chemistry, which released in early 2012. With music that has been described as a mix between The Ready Set and Never Shout Never, Carter’s blend of electro and pop can best be described as “power-pop.” After experimenting with multiple genres during his early years, the McKinney, Texas native took his power-pop sound and teamed up with management company Dreamtone Entertainment to release Chemistry. The EP is perfect for anyone from a girl dreaming about her crush to a group of friends hanging out by the pool. A regular on the Dallas indie scene, Carter is now looking to take his sound across America, planning a tour of the east coast over the coming months. In addition, he is currently writing for his debut full-length album.
