Every now and then someone comes along in life and leaves footprints of greatness in the earth. Chad B is that special kind of someone. Born February 29, 1980 in New Orleans, LA to a preacher and missionary, Chad learned how to utilize his God given talent and a very early age. He started singing at age three and playing the drums at age four. He was born with a passion for music. By the time Chad B had reached the 7th grade, he had already learned how to sight read music and was traveling the country singing before his father would preach.

Throughout grade school, he always excelled in music and performing arts. Chad graduated from high school with the senior superlative “Most Talented” which was given to him by his peers. By the time he was eighteen, Chad had already performed in front of 20,000 people in Memphis, TN where he had a standing ovation. At age sixteen, Chad began to develop a desire to write songs. The first song he wrote was entitled “Why’d You Have To Go”, a song he dedicated to his mother who died when he was only eleven years old.

From that time to now, Chad B has written hundreds of songs including the hit single “They Don’t Know” by Tahj Mowry. Most recently, Chad joined forces with Grammy award winning songwriter Keli Nicole Price (Beyonce’s déjà vu ) to form a dynamic writing duo. The chemistry they have developed together is one that can be heard and felt in all of the music they write together.

With his roots in Gospel Music, Chad B has decided to stay on the Inspirational track and teamed up with Grammy nominated producer, Christian Davis to record an album that is sure to be known as one of the greatest contemporary Gospel cd’s of his generation. He believes that in life, you will not have what you say, but you will have what your actions produce. His actions are producing greatness.
