Eclectric post prog dark rock with a Steamgoth twist.
Something dark and a bit different.
Chasing the dark is a music project by Corvid Preest (aka Chris Longman the former frontman of popular steampunk band Metropolis and Caamora artist) . Building on the foundations so popular in Metropolis, Chasing the Dark looks to forge the music forward in new and exciting directions. With a steady stream of digital single releases and live UK gigs, Chasing the Dark looks to inspire music lovers looking for something a bit more interesting than the norm, and hopes to recapture in them that sense of dark wonder and melodic awe that music used to have.
Delighted to finally release The Tavern on @Bandcamp today. I've had such wonderful feedback on this track I hope you all enjoy it? Please let me know if you do too? Then tell your friends!!
"“Chasing The Dark have produced some amazing music over the last few years… But ‘The Tavern’ is perhaps my favourite release so far and is just simply outstanding!” - Atticus Oldman
