Darrell * Johnson

Darrell has logged in an impressive 30+ year career as a professional musician, composer, producer, singer and instrumentalist. He’s had the privilege of working with many notable artists including the late, great Jaco Pastorius, bass player with Weather Report, Patato Valdez, renowned Latin percussionist, JVC recording artist Carmen Lundy, the late Godfather of Go Go, Chuck Brown, as well as the duo Peaches and Herb.

Darrell now embarks on the next new musical chapter in his life -- that of a solo artist. Recently transplanted from Washington, D.C. and currently living in Columbia, South Carolina, Darrell performs as a singer and multi-instrumentalist. His music (both original and contemporary) is a mix of jazz, pop, Latin, and soft-rock infusions that create a wonderfully energy and mood.
