David Dunavent and EVOL LOVE is a
hard hitting blues rock band hailing from
the heart of the Mississippi Delta. David,
the front man and namesake, has played
along side blues legends like Bill
"Howl n Madd" Perry, James "Super Chikan"
Johnson, current Blues sensation Jarekus Singleton,
and many more before striking out
on his own. Influenced by these greats,
and incorporating a cocktail mixture of Delta, Texas,
and Chicago blues, David Dunavent and EVOL LOVE
have set out to blaze a new trail
for the blues in Mississippi and beyond.
They've played staples in the blues community
such as Ground Zero in Clarksdale, Bottle Neck
Blues Bar in Vicksburg, and the Blue Biscuit in
Indianola. Along with that they've also been featured
at the Juke Joint Festival, the Sunflower River
Blues Festival, B.B. King's Homecoming
Festival, and the W.C. Handy Festival in
Henderson, Kentucky. David Dunavent and his Evol
crew know how to entertain a crowd and keep a
high energy show going and are sure to please.
