Since 1999, DJ Octane has performed for over thousands of people at over 1500 gigs. He has played in over 13 states along the east coast as well as in Mexico, Austria, and Spain. In 1999 he had his first breakthrough performance along side of Robbie Rivera at the Chili Pepper in Ft. Lauderdale at a large event. Shortly after, his reputation and reliability as an “all around DJ" came to play that gave him the opportunity to play all over Central & South Florida clubs, raves and events including with International DJ George Acosta at Club Level in Miami Beach (which is now Mansion.) Back then, he specialized in hard-to-find European peak Hour Trance & Hard House. He is still actively involved in the WMC/MMC entertaining patrons with yearly events in different venues in Miami Beach named the East Coast Showcase.
In 2004, DJ Octane relocated to the Washington D.C. area. Music started to change as well as new tastes including a growing love for House music. DJ Octane's Miami and Spanish influences in music style quickly led him to become involved in the Mid-Atlantic electronic music scene. He collaborated with local DJ's & producers in the Techno/Tribal/Progressive House scene in Washington D.C. He has remixed and produced several unreleased tracks which are awaiting label approval.
Over the years DJ Octane's music style has evolved from Trance, Hard House, & Breaks to Tribal,Tech House & Techno. He goes by a saying ”Where & when I play is what I play.” However, he will never play commercialized “Pop-EDM.”
