The Emerald Armada set off early 2010. The fleet began with the friendship of singer/songwriter Augustus Allen and bassist Gary Lynas. From an early age these two companions grew up to love the sound of raw, energetic and meaningful music from such artists as John Martyn to Pearl Jam. This energetic sound is accomponied by Dermot Moynagh an All Ireland Bodhran Champion, Benjamin Hamilton who adds his graceful harmonies and Tony McHugh on Electric guitar who completes this wall off sound. After an eventful year The Emerald Armada are right back at it. With a second EP due for February 2012, a few Scottish shows and more touring they are certinly making the most of their time. This five piece foot stomping, folk popping sound are made for live shows and a good old knees up.

VerseChorusVerse is the alias of Tony Wright who previously of PepperBook, Zombie Safari Park and the lesser known ASIWYFA. VerseChorusVerse was born out of a deep rooted desire to sing as Tony found that the mere act of expelling air aurally coupled with hitting idiosyncratic, in tune, musical notes seemed to release endorphins in a free and totally natural way that helped him to smile. Having toured the world and achieved some success with his last band, the behemoth that is ASIWYFA, the fiercely energetic & instrumental nature of ASIWYFA coupled with their vast wall of sound led to Tony to explore just how to convey as much passion and intensity using only his voice and an acoustic guitar in a live setting. VerseChorusVerse is eager to be heard.
The fresh folk-lullaby sound of The Jepettos launched in Derry early this year. Influenced heavily by the airy vocals of Sufjan Stevens and the quirky lilt of Lisa Hannigan and Regina Spektor, this 5 piece woodwind and string ensemble are headed up by husband-wife songwriters Ruth and Mike whose collaboration create a natural yet unpredictable sound.
The Emerald Armada are set to play the Apple Store Glasgow. Its not often we see unsiged artists at the Apple store, which only stands for the talent on the Armada. This will be a great show.
The Emerald Armada will be preforming on the HMS Belfast, London for the Humanitarian organisation Sea Shepherd for their Celebrety Fundraiser. This is a ticket only event
