The band is well versed in all periods of Grateful Dead live performances and the vast catalog of songs including Grateful Dead originals as well as covers performed by the band over the years in that unique psychedelic style.
We are proud to be able to present this great American song book to nostalgic fans and to be able to introduce the music and culture to new listeners. Bringing together and building the local community around the dancing and music and fun that the Grateful Dead represent is our contribution to making the world a better place.

So we are looking at a Last Sunday of the month "Church Double Header" at Lafayette Theater! All you can Church! And it’s Lady’s night..
Graciously Departed welcomes the 1st Church of Cannabis with Grand Poobah Bill Levin to conduct service between sets at Graciously Departed’s Trip or Treat Costume Party on Sunday October 28th.
Graciously Departed will preform a historical re-enactment Grateful Dead Tribute complete with two sets of music dancing and other shenanigans.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Purdue NORML and the 1st Church of Cannabis.

Graciously Departed formed from a group of musicians who wanted to put together a Grateful Dead Tribute act for a music festival the same summer the Grateful Dead were celebrating their 50th year as a band. The festival performance was a success and so they booked more shows and kept performing. After a few lineup changes and adopting the name Graciously Departed the band became a successful regional act playing small theaters, brewing companies and festivals. The group is currently is comprised of Erica Hegland (Keyboard and Vocals), Jamie Werner (Guitar and Vocals), Aaron Walker (Drums), Kidd Deckard (Drums), Chris Lee (Lead Guitar) Jim Johnson (Bass). Now Booking for Fall 2018 and 2019.
