Dense, unfettered brutality. The music will grab you and will not let go. After taking Austin,TX as residence in 2008, the South-American metallers have carved their place in the growing Texas scene. Their fast execution and ferocious delivery has taken their music to international stages in support of some of the best metal acts in the world.
2019
HEADCRUSHER visits the US West Coast and Canada as part of their “Seismic Trails West Coast Tour 2019”
The band is invited to be part of Knotfest Mexico 2019.
The band enters the studio in Los Angeles, California to record a new EP.
2018
HEADCRUSHER visits for the first time Mexican Soil as part of the “GRITOS DEL SUR” TOUR
USA-Mexico- July 2018.
2017
HEADCRUSHER releases "DEATH COMES WITH SILENCE". Produced and mixed by Jesse Gander at Rain City Recorders (Vancouver, Canada). The album receives amazing reviews and the band is featured in magazines such as Rolling Stones and MetalHammer.
The band has a successful promotional tour in its home country Colombia during summer 2017.
2015
HEADCRUSHER hits the road one more time from Texas to Illinois with IKILLYA from NY.
HeadCrusher was invited to be part of Full Terror Assault, the first European style Open Air Festival for extreme music fans, in the USA.
2013- 2014
At the beginning of 2013 HEADCRUSHER finished recording a new EP “Black Burning Skies”, this production features mix and mastering of award winning producer Tue Madsen and artwork of Texas own Jon Zig. In April 2013 the band released the official video of their new single “Swimming In A Sea of Death” a collaboration between Swedish guitar player and filmmaker Anders Björler and the band.
October 2013 HEADCRUSHER is invited to perform Phillip Anselmo’s HouseCore Horror Music And Film Festival.
By the end of the year the band signs a vinyl production and distribution deal with Spora Recordz featuring HEADCRUSHER’s last two productions “Let The Blood Run/Black Burning Skies”.
May 2014, the band releases their double vinyl and a new video “Common Nonsense” directed by Michael Panduro which eventually won several film festival awards.
2011-2012
In March of 2011, they won the Road to Full Metal Texas contest held by RoadRunner Records and played at the SXSW showcase, sharing the stage with such bands as: The Red Chord, Upon A Burning Body, Kvelertak, Trap Them.
In January of 2012 they released "Let The Blood Run" this is their first full length album released on American soil. It was recorded in Austin, TX at Lucid Audio, and was mixed and mastered by Tue Madsen (The Haunted, Behemoth, Dark Tranquility, Hatesphere). Artwork by Jon Zig.
During the month of June HEADCRUSHER toured the east coast of the US and in July they were invited to Rock al Parque. This was a great show for HEADCRUSHER, giving them the opportunity to comeback home after 7 years to share their music and hard work with everyone. The reception of the band at the festival was greater than expected, opening new opportunities for the band in the future.
Throughout the whole summer HEADCRUSHER’S new single “Prisoner Machine”, streamed daily on Liquid Metal Sirius Satellite Radio. Upon demand on two different occasions, this song made it to the top 12 “The Devils Dozen”.
On December of 2012 they get invited to play Barge to Hell, the world’s first Extreme Metal Cruise. The festival counts with an impressive lineup: At the Gates, Behemoth, Brujeria, Exodus, Sepultura, Sodom, to name a few.

2007-2010
HEADCRUSHER moved to New York in 2007. The Band relocated to Austin, Texas in the summer of 2008 and recorded their self-titled EP in 2009. The tracks were mastered by Juan Urteaga (Exodus, Testament, Machine Head) at Trident Studios in Northern California, with the artwork designed by Alex Eckman-Lawn (Architects, Syopus, Hacride).
With the release of the self-titled EP in 2010 and a steady stream of gigs throughout Texas, HEADCRUSHER gained a larger following and has been presented with many opportunities.
Early years 2001 to 2006
Formed in early 2001 in Pereira, Colombia, South America. HEADCRUSHER’s blend of thrash, death metal and hardcore climbed them to the top of the growing Colombian and South American metal scene.
HEADCRUSHER has played many successful shows in their homeland including the prestigious Rock Al Parque festival and FFF festival in Ambato, Ecuador.
