In 1987 Ludlow ‘Bingie Lloyd’ Mckenzie decided to form a band by the name (FM Force Band). The FM Force band with Sanchez as lead singer was readily accepted and appreciated wherever it performed. Music lovers were entertained at various school concerts, youth clubs and community centers. Sanchez left the band in 1988 to pursue his solo career, then the name was changed to (High Symbol Band).High Symbol Band consisting of members: Ludlow’ BingieLloyd’ Mckenzie-(bandleader/bass), Bernard’Jeremy’ Powell-(drums), Elana Lewis-(guitar), Noel Davy-(keyboards),Garth Gray-(keyboards).
When asked about this band, bandleader Bingie stated “This band is extremely competent of backing any vintage or current artist of music. Our own music is strictly clean and cultural. The band has provided backing support for many events over the years. It has backed such artists as:
Mighty Diamonds, Capleton, Sizzla, Luciano, Leroy Sibbles, and the late great Dennis Brown, John Holt, Gregory Isaacs, Eddie Fitzroy, Frankie Paul
Recently Bingie Bandleader/Bassist Ludlow “Bingie-Lloyd' Mckenzie was the 2017 Reggae Wellness Unsung Jamaican Music Pioneer Award Winner, after the band had a wonderful performance on the show.
The band’s history spans over a twenty year period, with performances at the National Stadium in Kingston before Nelson and Winnie Mandela, also a six month tour of Australia, commencing with a four hour long celebration of Bob Marley songs. The band has toured extensively in the Caribbean and Americas-receiving iconic status in Cancun, Mexico where they have been received by the government and they were also awarded a diploma in music. The band is currently venturing in music production with the ’Herb Seed ’ rhythm , ’Termination’ and ’Outspoken’ rhythm following to be released the ’Lovelight’ and Private Number single, and an album coming soon.
Apart from being a well experience backing band, the band as a lead singer that is sure to deliver with a wonderful voice and great variation of Reggae song, which shows the bands versatility both as a backing band an also a great performing band.

Since lately (2009-2013) we have been working with artist such as Glen Washington, George Nooks, Andy Livingston, Admiral Tibet, Dennis Walks, Carl Dawkins, Fredlocks, Mikey General, King Stitchie and most currently doing working with Luciano.We look forward for his album launch and expecting to do several Carribbean shows with him in 2014.

The Reggae Capital of the World is Kingston Jammaica and home to Ludlow “Bingie” Lloyd Mckenzie one of the best “Bass Players” not only in Jamaica but the world.
Jamaica is commonly known as the Reggae Capital of the world and home many great well known reggae bands and even more great reggae singers. Behind every great reggae vocalist’s live show, there was always a great bandleader that help bring their music to life.
“Bingie” has been bandleader for hundreds of these act over the last 20 years, unlike the stars he played behind, many outside the reggae arena have no knowledge of his achievements over that time.
