Xavier Cole, which many know of him as "Internationally Known" Dj Shine , until recently a behind-the-scenes entertainment wizard, takes the American stage, spotlight, and mic with the latest incarnation of different various projects, where he brings solid networking and connection together to build a bridge for his own entertainment ventures. Dj Shine has always been an assertive hard worker with multiple irons in the fire, disc jockeying has been a successful passion for the past ten years. Even though he started his career as a overseas Club/Event promoter, producing series of club events in the local area of Iwakuni, Japan. Dj Shine most well known yearly events was called "Friendship Day" After Party, these series of events were counted over a few hundred patrons an event of mixed culture. The reason why Dj Shine became a DJ he explains, "I would always book different Dj s from other areas, and I could never find the vibe I wanted to have. So, I went to a japanese club manager, that I knew was a DJ. When I asked him to teach me to DJ he said "teach yourself" which I appreciated more. After going to the local club every day for weeks on weeks on the vinyls, I just fell in love with the craft and started respecting the different levels this industry consist of." Now, after almost a decade of living abroad in Asia while pursuing multiple aspects of the music world, Dj Shine has found a deeper passion and greater respect for the music entertainment industry. He has done that by developing his own entertainment & production company Get Yo Shine On Entertainment LLC. and Str*8 Muzik Productions. Even though Dj Shine has been running his career with no management or oversee advice. Dj Shine also has been managed himself or involved in modeling, small acting, and developing different marketing strategies to reach the next level in his career.
Starting young, Dj Shine was aware that his hometown of Laurel, Mississippi. Where he was born into was not a life sentence, but merely a starting point. Upon graduating High School in 2003, he decided to become a leader. Dj Shine registered to join the United States Marine Corps, where he graduated boot camp in December of 2004. In his early twenties, over the course of his military career and even after his military obligations he settled in Japan for several years, while overseas Xavier has traveled to other countries as S.Korea & China. Finding a place for himself in the Japanese music scene, he founded Get Yo Shine On Entertainment in 2007. Dj Shine started producing DVDs and begun making Promo Only mix cd series called “Internationally Connected” DVDs or "Diamond Kutz Radio" cds. featured with artist all over the United States, as well as a few Japanese Pop (J-Pop) records. Having merchandise and promotional items at each event, many people were drawn to his ambitious mindset. While producing these collections, he is also developed a new creative venture, Straight Muzik Productions, as another way to create an produce different graphic artwork, visuals, and project conceptions. Dj Shine is also a graphic designer for Straight Muzik Productions and is Lead Project Manager.Since then, Get Yo Shine On Entertainment LLC. has carved out a promising career for DJ Shine, working with artists from many different states in USA, UK, London, and Nigeria. Dj Shine has a growing audience fan base, featuring a variety of services including club shows, event planning and organizing, artist promotions, entertainment panels, graphic design, promotional items, online distributions, single email blast, and more. Dj Shine has been featured in events and performances across Japan (in the cities of and around Tokyo, Fussa, Kobe, Osaka, Okayama, Fukuyama, Hiroshima, Fukuoka, and Sasebo) Dj Shine has made long-term experience and valuable connections with Japanese artists, DJs, dancers, promoters, and designers. Dj Shine stays connected to the people that he has worked with or plan to work with in the future. As the connections expand and emerging artists mature into bigger names, Get Yo Shine On Entertainment LLC. intends on keeping up and growing in order to support driven and determined artists from across the globe.
DJ Shine returned back to USA in December of 2011, where also is known as the genius behind the Diamond Kutz Radio Mixtapes, a monthly CD with a wide circulation base in Japan. DJ Shine mixtapes consist of the latest Hip Hop, Dance, R&B, Electro and other genres of music to entertain the masses. Dj Shine stays displays his vast range of music rap music selection with the younger generations with some adults that call it "Turn Up" music. In late 2012, while Dj Shine was living in North Carolina he was offered a remote Dj / Radio Host behind using the name Diamond Kutz Radio in NYC with RCR Entertainment. Dj Shine Diamond Kutz Radio Mix Hour Show in New York City, “On The Air” was on every friday at midnight/ eleven est time. After a short partnership role with RCR Entertainment, Dj Shine wanted to focus more with working hands on with independent artists. By connecting with artists located in Atlanta, Georgia, Dj Shine decided to work with more DJs, Independent Artists, and Club Promoters. DJ Shine stated " Being in North Carolina, showed me there's plenty artist with very much needed talents to give to the industry, with only a few directions to go in". After moving to Atlanta, Georgia for a short time of a few months working with artists, acts, and independent labels. such as Super Producer C Sharp On Tha Track, Chiko (Mr.17.5), Slim Gutta, Jon Clawd, Truepa Da Don, Don't Sleep Entertainment and more. Even after the networking and connections that were made, Dj Shine pretense was not long in Atlanta, Georgia. In the same year, April of 2012, after the un timely death of his mother Dedtra Denise Carter. Dj Shine relocated back to his home state of Mississippi, where he went on a 2 year hiatus over the his loss.
In 2014, after months of spending time away from his music career, he decided it was time for him to get back into his passion. Dj Shine started his first radio personality DJ gig for 92.1 Fm (WJMG) Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Dj Shine relocated back to Atlanta, Georgia, over time in 2015, has had a few regular radio mixshows in Florida. Dj Shine with the help of Miami, Florida number 1 digital broadcast station (Dagr8fm) WKMT-DB. Dj Shine "Diamond Kutz Mixx Hr" airs Every Tuesday & Thursdays 4-6 pm est. Also, with the help of Tampa Bay, Florida (Buck City Radio) Dj Shine has "Always Werkin Wednesdays" 7-8 pm set and Saturdays 4-5 pm est.
Dj Shine plans to consistently work with different artists and expanding his brand through determination and knowledge. His hard work shows that no matter your situation you can strive for the better things with planning and hard work. As far as a certain level, Dj Shine has completed many tasks like Encoding, Publishing, and Artist Development for many of his clients. " I hope to bring back that hands on Dj style, where Djs was not just looked as record players, I want to bring quality back in the game". Being the way his career has quickly moved up this pass year, Dj Shine has a very promising future, and he has the gumption to be the next Top A&R for a major label.
