Kefia Rollerson - Bio
Kefia Denise Rollerson, eldest daughter of Bishop Keith A. Rollerson and Lady Cheryl Rollerson, was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. While singing in church starting at the tender age of 2, Kefia's parents knew that she was called to minister the gospel of Jesus Christ. At the age of 16, Kefia accepted her calling and has been humbly ministering to God’s people for over 15 Years with her powerful instrumental gift.
In 2013 Rollerson was blessed with the opportunity to compete on BET’s hit gospel competitive television show, Sunday Best. Accompanied and mentored by some of Gospel Music’s greatest; Kefia’s anointing, vocal ability, energetic spirit and genuine love for God compelled the judges week after week. Rollerson landed one of the top final contestant spots on the show. After thousands of viewers voted; Rollerson walked away from the show with the title of Sunday Best Season 6 Runner Up. When an interviewer asked Rollerson how her experience was with Sunday Best she replied, " Sunday Best was one of the best experiences of my life. I am forever grateful for Kirk Franklin and what the show’s national platform did for my career."
Since Sunday Best, Kefia has been continuously blessed with opportunities to travel the world, sharing the message of Jesus Christ and His salvation through song. Rollerson has also been diligently working on her highly anticipated album, which will be released in June 2018.
Kefia’s music career also encompasses her Music Production Company, KRo Productions. Kefia’s vision is to assist in the development of emerging artists consciously establishing a career plan by way of executing the dream, designing the strategy, and accomplishing the logistics in hopes of witnessing a successful career blossom and sustain a new artist.
Having a humble heart and a genuine will to serve God’s people is what she prides herself in, and using her gifts to encourage and expand the Kingdom of God is her focus.
