Hip Hop and that grimy mixtape stuff that everybody loves, and Neglected Poetry loves to make. Neglected Poetry was started back in 2003 in Milwaukee, WI and has been in group form and seen a lot of changes over the years But is now the one man who started it all Nick Svec. Nick was born on July 5, 1985 and grew up in the small town of North Prairie, Wisconsin, a quiet suburban area with a population of around 1,300.

He was definitely something that the area he was growing up in had never heard of. Nick's passion for Hip-Hop put him up against constant adversity, but he was determined to get his name out....Later Nick became..NEGLECTED POETRY.

Neglected Poetry has released numerous mix-tapes over the years.

Performed dozens of times live at all sorts of venues. With acts such as.....Sean Paul, Nas, Bone Thugs n Harmony, Tech Nine, Twista, The Roots, J Cole and many more. NP has done some really cool things in the past, But the music that's coming out THIS YEAR is going to be phenomenal.

The last 7 or 8 years have been building to this moment, this year, to right now. Neglected Poetry is poised to make waves in the upcoming year in the music industry.
