Negro Terror, brainchild of Bassist/frontman Omar Higgins, is an all black mixture of hardcore punk, American Oi and powerviolence. Essentially, a gumbo of frustration, influenced by bands like Agnostic Front, Suicidal Tendencies, Bad Brains and The Templars that stewed into charisma and great musicianship Though all from different places of birth and musical backgrounds, somehow New York (Omar and David), Atlanta (Rico), and Memphis (Ra'id) combined to make, according to some, "the best band in Memphis right now".
Yesterday, somehow someway, Reddit decided to put us on the front page. The link is here below.

Director John Rash and guitarist Rico Fields were presented with the "THE SOUL OF SOUTHERN FILM" award last night at Circuit Playhouse. Backed by the University of Mississippi, John Rash, also a professor there, was completely taken aback.
