Nicky Newman is based in Northamptonshire. She begun releasing music April 2021. At the age of 47, she was fashionably late to the party, but her reasoning, was that she was creating her story, before she shared it. Nicky’s songs have taken many side roads, through cinematic, pop/jazz/blues & dance. Having sung a whole array of genres over the years, you'd think it would be easy to pin down a particular musical identity, but with Nicky’s extensive versatility, has made this process a beautiful challenge. Finally landing on the Pop/Blues genre, with heartfelt messages within her tracks, Nicky has been welcomed with open arms by many. If you mixed Adele, Kelly Clarkson, Pink together & chucked in a few Bond esq. soundtracks, that's where you'd find her vibe.
Chart positions have ranged from No.1, Top 5, 10, 20 within the Singer/Songwriter & Jazz & Blues Charts on iTunes, and top within the top 100 in the iTunes Pop Charts, being the only unsigned artist in the chart at that time.
Nicky has performed in London West End, Queens Diamond Jubilee - London, European Tour with Shakin’ Stevens, Queens Platinum Jubilee - Picnic in the Park (Rugby), Queens Baton Relay - Commonwealth Games 2022 (Rugby) and an array of other venues nationally!
