Medieval/ Renaissance, Nordic, Celtic and traditional music

The band is based in Transylvania, Romania. Since 2008 we bring joy with our music to various historical reenactment festivals as well as traditional fairs, beer festivals, tattoo conventions, film festivals, private events, concert halls, theatres, churches, cultural centers and more.

Our repertoire includes mostly medieval court dances and peasant dances, along with traditional songs from all across Europe, possibly dating back to the middle ages; as well as our own neo-medieval compositions. We sing in more than ten languages, from the oldest Latin and Gaulish (the language of the Central European Celts) to medieval languages (Galeo-Portuguese, Breton, Sephardic, Tatar, Occitan), all the way to modern day languages such as Romanian, English, Hungarian, German, Polish.

In addition to the authenticity of the musical pieces, the representation on a professional level is complemented by the use of replicas of historical instruments: bagpipes, hurdy-gurdy, rauschpfeife, fidula, medieval drums, tapan, cittern, flute, percussions.
