Honduran Born DJ, Pwhyte is a Bronx, NY resident by way of St. Vincent. He is the newest breed of Garifuna-American entertainers who specializes in Afro-Caribbean and Latin music from Merengue to Punta to Reggae to Salsa to Zouk, Calypso and Soca among many. A highly sought entertainer, he has not only performed in some of NY iconic clubs, but also in Miami. In 2012, he was one of the very few entertainers invited to attend the White House for a briefing during National Caribbean American Heritage Month in June.

DJ Pwhyte has performed at private functions, multiple lounges in the metro NYC area such as Djembe, Hakoons, Rustik Tavern, K-Lounge, Pine Tree Lodge, Silvana, Shrine, Farafina and at the legendary SOBs. He has also traveled to the states of Florida and Illinois to move the crowd.

DJ Pwhyte has released several mixtapes encompassing a combination of these genres on mixcloud, soundcloud and datpiff. He is an experienced dj with access to many genres of music including Hip Hop, R&B, Reggae, Latin, Reggae, Zouk, Kompa, House, Merengue, Salsa, Bachata Punta, Soukouss, Makossa, High Life, Afropop, Afrobeat, and Cou'pe De'cale.
