RECO LIVE hails from North Carolina currently in Washington, D.C. after signing with Khurum Records.
RECO LIVE started writing poems at an early age, while listening to hip-hop artists like Tupac, Biggie, Will Smith, Snoop Dogg (Snoop Lion), Dr.Dre, Ice Cube, Arrested Development, Naughty By Nature, Eminem, 50 Cents, etc.
RECO LIVE has pure talent with genuine appeal attracting many followers and has captivated a large Hiip Hop/R&B audience like a magnet. RECO LIVE debut single "Make A Change" is geared to healing the relationship between fathers and mothers. RECO LIVE believes "Make A Change" communicates to the women to let them know men do care and understand how difficult it can be to rear a child without a father present.
RECO LIVE wrote "Make A Change" as an message to the youth explaining they have choice in the path they choose for their life and they don't have to follow their peers and still be successful,
After 'Make A Change' was well received RECO LIVE released his secord single 'WHAT ABOUT US' as the answer to 'Make A Change', 'What About Us' lets everyone know that we all are in this world together so we should look out for each other no matter what your station this includes help for the poor, homeless or down trotten.
RECO LIVE's heart felt messages are making a difference and changing the hearts and mind of lives of today's youth when they hear his testimony.
Grammy Award Winner the Late CHUCK BROWN was so impressed with RECO LIVE's positive direction he stamped as the future for today's youth. CHUCK BROWN told RECO LIVE to "keep his direction of music and don't change a thing. The youth needs more positive rap music" at the 2012 Grammy Awards Party in Washington, D.C..RECO LIVE has been working hard to continue true positive Hip-Hop for his generation and the next.
RECO LIVE saw the movie 'The Art of Rap - Something from Nothing' which represented the true elements of Hip-Hop and the movie motivated him. The Art of Rap movie and MC Monie Love's radio radio interview really got RECO LIVE to focus away from money, cars and balling. RECO LIVE focus in more into the Art of Rap.
'Make A Change'' and 'What About Us' is RECO LIVE's process of growth and development. RECO LIVE indentifies that a positive direction is necessary in order to maintain a proper balance in life.
RECO LIVE has performed in venues, tours and major events from the church to the Mayor. RECO LIVE says he enjoys looking into the eyes of kids and young adults and watching him enjoy his positive music. RECO LIVE's music living from within to hearts internationally and its alive for the now generation.
RECO LIVE WON 5 SEASONS WINS Hip-Hop Contest In Baltimore Md
RECO LIVE came out to chill and give respect to his Bmore's fans at the 5 Seasons Night Club, when asked would he like to participate for the Best Hip-Hop Artist contest.
RECO LIVE had just finished a hot song in the studio and grasped thet opportunity to premiere his dance single and med tempo single.
RECO LIVE's album scheduled for release this fall contain 12 tracks.
RECO LIVE's fans compair him to Tupac, Biggie, Eminem, Wili Smith.

Hip-Hop 4 the Homeless
RECO LIVE is booked for the National Hip-Hop 4 the Homeless Tour. This tour will be apart of RECO LIVE's community effort to raise money for the homeless and downtrotten.. RECO LIVE's songs 'MAKE A CHANGE' and 'WHAT ABOUT US' have been rally cry for aid to the homeless at the Washington, D.C. Hip-Hop 4 Homeless Event on July 7, 2012.
AfterHours Youth Fundraiser
RECO LIVE was at the Afterhours Studio In PG Maryland where his did well the MC Cypher enjoy two young MC's Robert Hackett and Jessie. These young Kids can handle there own... RECO LIVE is planing to work with them on some up coming projects. RECO LIVE enjoyed the AfterHours July 11, 2012 event which raised money for the areas youth. The event was a Success.

RECO LIVE was in the studio recording his demo track for inclusion in the BET cypher at the 2012 BET Hip-Hop Music Awards. RECO LIVE's track is very unique and refreshing ..... RECO LIVE performs his debut dance single 'Pop Lockin' at Chris Thomas's Commedy Night at the Eclipse Night Club. RECO LIVE's song 'What About Us' a song which address our homelessness and economy had the crowd remembering the 'Hook'. What About Us was even us as punch line in a comedy rountine.
Chris Thomas is the former Mayor of BET's Rap City and it was great to have RECO LIVE recognized by the former Mayor as a Hip-Hop MC.
Chris Thomas has hosted BET ' Rap City premiering Hip-Hop's best RAP (Rhymes and Poetry) of the late 80's and early 91's.
RECO LIVE was stamped and commeded by 'The God Father of Go-Go' Chuck Brown at the DC Grammy Awards Party for take a stand to bring forward postive Hip-Hop music back for today's youth. RECO LIVE's dream is being realized everywhere he beforms. RECO LIVE often performs with a Chuck Brown t-shirt in memory.
