Rob Pearson is a London born and raised electronic music artist, now relocated to Yorkshire UK. As a producer Rob's racked up well over two decades worth of releases, with a vast amount of engineering and production credits on hundreds of records to his name. Rob's involvement as an exponent of the early London Tech House scene in the late 90s has seen his own tracks being released on an array of well-respected labels including Fabric, Toolroom, Wiggle, Plastic City, Reverberations, and Swag Records.
More recently Rob's work has been signed to labels including Real Deal, Bosh, Cue, and Woodwork Recordings. Collaborating with studio partner Paul Donton has seen Rob release four artist albums signed to Bombis Records and Orlando Voorn’s seminal Triangle.Records imprint.
As a DJ spinning underground House and Techno, Rob's record bag is well travelled and he's performed in many parts of the world including the United States (Miami WMC), Europe (ADE Amsterdam, Barcelona, Prague, Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovakia, Germany) as well as all over the UK with regular London gigs in pretty much every venue of note. Expertly covering the ground from deep, dark and tripped out House to slick, seductive and groovy Techno. Whether headlining or supporting, his sets are always eagerly anticipated.
Rob’s launched his Evasive Records imprint in 1999 which is held in high esteem having released over 30 (now highly sought after) vinyl releases and later leading to a steady output of digital EPs. Evasive is enjoying a resurgence with Subwax (Barcelona) repressing Rob's classic Tech House back catalogue from the early Noughties, as well as licensing to Nicola Cruz’s album as part of the hallowed Fabric compilation series.
If the true test of any DJ, producer, and label owner is support from their peers, music buyers and packed out dance floors, then Rob Pearson has proved time and time again that he excels at every aspect.
