Rust Belt is an American Southern rock jam band from southeastern Wisconsin, formed in April 2016. The group was brought together by seasoned musicians Brandon Shilts (guitar), Don Miller (drums), and Paul Aceto (bass), who combined their extensive experience to create a powerhouse band. Known for their unmistakable sound, Rust Belt’s music reflects the times and culture surrounding them. Their songs are a vivid portrayal of the life and energy of the Rust Belt region, infused with Southern rock influences, and often accompanied by captivating, jam-oriented performances.
Their fusion of rock, Southern soul, and storytelling makes them stand out in the contemporary rock scene. The band’s music resonates deeply with themes of resilience, hard work, and the spirit of the American Midwest, with a sound that is both familiar and fresh.
