LA GUNS will be continuing the Black Diamonds tour through 2024 with headlining shows as well as direct support for KK Downing's Priest first U.S. Tour and The Tom Keifer Band's Live/Loud 2024 tour.
2023:
Shawn hit the road with L.A. GUNS for the "Black Diamonds" tour covering 19 states with 55 shows July thru September. Additional dates were added for December.
Shawn performed in 2 videos,"Shattered Glass" and "Diamonds". with L.A. Guns for thier April 14th 2023 worlwide release "Black Diamonds" on Frontiers Records. L.A. Guns Performs on the 80"s Cruise March 2023.
2022:
Shawn was asked to joinh platinum recording artists L.A.Guns. L.A. Guns toured the U.S. for 9 weeks with over 40 performances on the "Sonic Slam Tour" a package tour featuring Tom Keifer, L.A. Guns and Faster Pussycat. In October 2022, L.A.GUNS performed on the "Deck Stage" on The KISS KRUISE 2022! L.A GUNS wrapped up the year headlininig The Whisky A Gogo to a sold out crowd. The show was simulcast on SiriusXM/Hair Nation world wide.
2021-2020
Shawn recorded a full length album "Love 2B Hated" for the band "Sociial Disorder" On AFM Records. The band features Shawn Duncan, Tracii Guns, Jeff Duncan, Rudy Sarzo, Anders LaRonnblom and many "guest" performers. Love 2B hated was released worldwide in June, 2021 to much critical acclaim and has prodced 5 videos and singles!
Shawn hit the recording studio in September 2022 for Social Disorder's second album due for a 2023 release.
2018:
Shawn performed on 4 worldwide releases with Odin, DC4 and Killer Bee. These will be on EMP Lable Group-Universal-SPV records (Odin), HighVol-Sony/red (DC4)and Mighty Music-Target DE (Killer Bee). Video's and tours followed through 2019.
Between 2013 and 2016 Shawn performed on 3 national Tours and countless fly outs with 80's Rock Band "Bulletboys". Shawn also appeared in the video for BulletBoys 2015 Cleopatra Records single "Rollover" from the Album "Elephante". Shawn also appears with BulletBoys on the Benefit album "Rockers Against MS" which was recorded at Dave Grohls 606 studios.
Shawn spent his formative years with the infamous and highly influential band ODIN Recording 5 albums, countless touring, a video and appeared as a featured artist in the metal classic motion picture "The Decline of Civilization2, The Metal Years".
Shawn has recorded and released 4 cd's with the band DC4 featuring his brothers Jeff Duncan (Armored Saint,Odin), Matt Duncan and Rowan Robertson (Dio). Thier newest album "Atomic Highway" on ToneHouse Records was released in 2021.
With over 17 albums, countless tours, videos and even a major motion picture on his resume it is fair to say he has established himself as a true professional.
Shawn credits John Bonham, Alex Van Halen, Cozy Powell , Steve Smith, Danny Saraphine and Roger Taylor as his largest influences however he insists that drums are a never ending journey and is always floored by something he hasn't heard before. Shawn is a solid, powerful, energetic, groove oriented drummer with incredible feel and a strong understanding of song structure.

L.A. GUNS guitarist Tracii Guns has announced the addition of drummer Shawn Duncan to the group's ranks. Duncan joins L.A. GUNS as the replacement for Shane Fitzgibbon, who had played with the band from 2016 to 2019 and again from 2021 until his latest departure.

In response to the tragic passing of Chris Cornell, Ultimate Jam Night, the long-running show in residency at Hollywood's Whisky A Go Go held a special tribute in his honor on Tuesday, May 23. The event was free of charge and was broadcast worldwide on Zinna.TV.
A long list of performers — including SOUL ASYLUM's Dave Pirner — performed with Doug Pinnick of KING'S X, as well as the entire band LIVING COLOUR, BUDDERSIDE's Patrick Stone, Stevie D. from BUCKCHERRY, Debby Holiday and forty other known artists.

Cornell's remains were cremated on Tuesday (May 23) ahead of a private funeral service set to take place this Friday (May 26), according to TMZ. A small group of family and friends were on hand for the cremation, including his brother Peter, his wife Vicky, and his friends Linda Ramone and singer J.D. King.
The funeral on Friday will be held at Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles, California. Cornell's attorney told Variety that after 3:00 p.m. local time on Friday, following the private ceremony, the public is welcome to visit the gravesite. Information about larger public memorials was still undecided at press time.
The 52-year-old was pronounced dead early last Thursday morning (May 18) after being found unresponsive in his Detroit hotel room on Wednesday night. SOUNDGARDEN had played a show earlier that evening.
The official cause of death was suicide by hanging, although the result of a full autopsy and toxicology tests are pending.
Cornell's wife has said he may have taken more of the anti-anxiety drug Ativan than he was prescribed, with side effects that could have contributed to his demise.
Meanwhile, SOUNDGARDEN's longtime front-of-house engineer and tour manager, Ted Keedick, told TMZ that the vocalist seemed to be "high" during the band's last performance in Detroit, hours before Cornell's death.
Keedick revealed, "Chris was out of character from note one of the show. I've never heard or seen him that way before, at least if we did not cancel a show... I'd never heard his voice that way before. He was having serious control problems."
The engineer said that at one point during the concert he was so concerned he phoned someone backstage from his mixing board in the middle of the venue and asked what was wrong with Cornell. He added that the singer seemed "fucked up" but not depressed.

The Rock Against MS Foundation is honored to present Nancy Wilson, founding member of the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame group HEART and her critically acclaimed, newly formed side project ROADCASE ROYALE at the 5th Annual Rock Against MS Benefit Concert & Award Show – Saturday, March 25 at the Historic Los Angeles Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles.
Wilson has teamed up with former Prince band member and R&B singer Liv Warfield to form a new super group called ROADCASE ROYALE. The sound of ROADCASE ROYALE is muscular rock with some R&B/blues and in-depth ballads thrown in, reflecting the iconic sounds of both their respective bands.
Joining Wilson (guitar) and Warfield (vocals) are lead guitarist Ryan Waters (the musical director for Liv's solo work and Prince Protégé) along with HEART members Chris Joyner (keys), Dan Rothchild (bass), and Ben Smith (drums).

Hailing from Los Angeles, California DC4 (Duncan Clan) features current and former members of Armored Saint, Dio and Odin. DC4 has released 4 CD's to date, Mood Swings, Volume One, Explode and Electric Ministry and will be recording their 5th CD in the Spring of 2017 for HighVolMusic. Renowned producer Bill Metoyer who has worked with the likes of Armored Saint, Fates Warning, WASP and Slayer amongst countless other bands is onboard again produce the new release.
DC4 consists of three brothers, Jeff Duncan (Armored Saint, Odin) Guitar and Lead Vocals, Shawn Duncan (Odin), Drums, Matt Duncan, Bass Guitar and their brother from another mother Rowan Robertson (Dio, Bang Tango), on Guitar. Collectively DC4 members have appeared on over 30 releases to date. To say DC4 is a supergroup would be an understatement. Forming as the 21st Century became a reality DC4 came to be when Jeff Duncan met Rowan Robertson, the band's musical pedigree is virtually unrivaled by their peers. "Jeff and I met when a local promoter named Happenin' Harry asked us both to be in his backing back for a few shows in the LA area and in Chicago, " relates Robertson. "When we got back to LA he just flat out asked if I wanted to join DC4 and we got along so well and played so great together that I just had to do it." Jeff recalls that "I wasn't into the whole idea of auditioning guitarists, we would know the right one when he came long and that's exactly what happened. He was looking for the sort of situation we had to offer and as it turned out, we were looking for him!" Having spent time in such bands as the legendary Dio, metal heroes Armored Saint, the short lived Violet's Demise and Odin, a band who had reached cult status by the end of the 1980's without ever leaving Hollywood! DC4 is much more than just your average hard rock act.

The "Rollover" music video features voluptuous Playboy model Ivy Ferguson and plays off the dichotomous relationship between the artist who's married to his music while simultaneously trying to keep his best gal happy. A wonderful weekend of festivities honoring the memory of the late Ronnie James Dio came to a conclusion on Sunday (May 17) in the San Fernando Valley of the Los Angeles area with a motorcycle rally, barbecue and concert.
The day started with bikers lining up at the Harley-Davidson of Glendale and preparing to make the ride to Encino where a majority of the day’s festivities would take place at the Los Encinos Park. Lita Ford, Sean McNabb and Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund founder Wendy Dio were among those making the ride on a mostly overcast morning.
Upon entering the park, there were a number of vendors on hand, a merchandise area with proceeds from items sold going to the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund, an informational booth, food and drinks and a giant screen behind the concert stage showing Dio performances in between acts. There was also a fly-over held in Ronnie’s honor later in the afternoon. And in addition to the day’s performances, funds were raised through auctions of a signed Dio guitar featuring the signatures of many of those who appeared at the weekend’s events and a photo book that also featured a wealth of rock autographs. With just those two items alone, over $8,000 was raised for cancer research.
As for the performances, Others got the day off to a blistering start with a brief set. They were followed to the stage by Dio Disciples, who played the longest set of the day, rocking such standouts as “Holy Diver,” “Stand Up and Shout,” “The Last in Line,” “Long Live Rock and Roll,” “Man on the Silver Mountain” and the set-closing “Heaven and Hell.” The group, which sports such Dio alums as Craig Goldy, Simon Wright and Scott Warren, also features guitarist Bjorn Englen and the powerhouse vocal pairing of Joe Retta and Oni Logan. Retta and Logan trade off songs and occasionally share vocals, all while taking great care of Dio’s legacy. At the end of their set, the fans in attendance joined Logan in a “Dio, Dio, Dio” chant.
Unfortunately, Gabbie Rae’s appearance did not go off as planned as the vocalist was ailing, but Lita Ford, who was already on hand from the morning’s motorcycle rally, stepped up to fill the void. She put together an all-star lineup with her bassist Marty O’Brien and Dio‘s Rowan Robertson flanking her, while Vinny Appice sat in on drums for a rocking rendition of “Kiss Me Deadly.”
Shortly after, Hellion‘s Ann Boleyn took the stage with her own all-star lineup. Reprising her rendition of “Sign of the Southern Cross” that she performed a day earlier at the Ronnie James Dio public memorial, Boleyn powered through the track with Sean McNabb, Goldy, Warren and Vinny Appice sitting in.
The biggest name on the bill was rock vet Eddie Money, a longtime friend of Ronnie’s who delivered an energetic four-song set featuring “Two Tickets to Paradise,” “No Control,” “We Should Be Sleeping” and “Shakin’.” The rocker made it a family affair, as some of his kids served as members of his band. After the performance, Money told us, “You know Ronnie Dio and I, we go way back together. He’s one of my favorite singers — Black Sabbath, Rainbow. His wife and mine are very good friends. And this is great. They’ve raised over a million dollars for cancer.” And while Money’s music is more rock than metal, he did express his love for metal music and the community.
The vocalist added about the Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund, “It’s a great organization and I really wanna thank everyone who took some money out of their pockets and I love that they’ve raise all this money … I just wish Ronnie was here. He would have loved this. He really would.”
Finishing out the day’s performances was DC4, the group featuring Armored Saint‘s Shawn, Jeff and Matt Duncan, along with Dio’s Rowan Robertson as they delivered a hard-hitting set.

Randy Rhoads Remembered: A Celebration of a Guitar Legend! RRR salutes Rhoads, the brilliant, original Ozzy Osbourne guitarist. Show creator Brian Tichy and partner Joe Sutton conceived this event in 2013 after agreeing years before that Randy Rhoads deserved fresh recognition for his musical impact. They are both huge fans of Rhoads. Tichy himself played with Ozzy Osbourne in 2000. On top of the best guitar players in the world rocking their favorite Rhoads’ songs, Randy’s brother Kelle Rhoads performs and both his sister Kathy and he share their stories making this a very touching and personal experience for all involved!

The Rock Against MS Foundation is honored to present Nancy Wilson, founding member of the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame group HEART and her critically acclaimed, newly formed side project ROADCASE ROYALE at the 5th Annual Rock Against MS Benefit Concert & Award Show – Saturday, March 25 at the Historic Los Angeles Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles.
Wilson has teamed up with former Prince band member and R&B singer Liv Warfield to form a new super group called ROADCASE ROYALE. The sound of ROADCASE ROYALE is muscular rock with some R&B/blues and in-depth ballads thrown in, reflecting the iconic sounds of both their respective bands.
Joining Wilson (guitar) and Warfield (vocals) are lead guitarist Ryan Waters (the musical director for Liv's solo work and Prince Protégé) along with HEART members Chris Joyner (keys), Dan Rothchild (bass), and Ben Smith (drums).

There is little doubt among the pure rock community that the legendary band Queen and lead performer Freddie Mercury earn high ranks as one of the most powerful and iconic groups in rock history. Queen, the kings of arena rock, performed to packed stadiums around the globe for over two decades. Freddie took showmanship by a rock front man to a new untapped level and was undisputedly crowned the lord of arena rock. He mesmerized audiences with his charismatic energy and larger than life stage persona. Upon his death in 1991, a huge void was left in the rock concert world, which to this day has not yet been matched.
Queen Nation, a tribute to Queen, was formed in 2004. Queen Nation consists of: Gregory Finsley on vocals & keyboards as Freddie Mercury, Mike McManus on guitar as Brian May, Pete Burke on drums as Roger Taylor, and Parker Combs on bass as John Deacon. The mission of the show is to carry on the musical torch and pay homage to the golden age of vintage Queen concerts.
Queen Nation's live 90-minute production of Queen's greatest hits preserves the image, sound, and stage persona of vintage Queen. Audiences are amazed at the accuracy of Queen Nation's live retrospective journey through such Queen songs as We Will Rock You – Bohemian Rhapsody – We Are The Champions – Crazy Little Thing Called Love – You're My Best Friend – Another One Bites The Dust – Under Pressure and many more.
