Traci Lynn spent most of her childhood on her family's small cotton farm in rural northeast Arkansas, spent several years in the Nashville area, and now resides in Colorado. Early musical influences include the Southern rock & blues, classic & outlaw country, and soul & gospel sounds coming from Memphis, Muscle Shoals, Macon, and Nashville. With very deep country roots and a rockin heart, her musical tastes expanded from there to include an appreciation for all styles of authentic music.
Coming soon! A full-length recording of new original songs by Traci Lynn, showcasing her 'jack of all trades' musical versatility: songwriting, vocals, harmonies, electric bass, and acoustic guitar. You can hear a few rough tracks, 'songwriter demo' style, on the Music and Video pages of this site - a few are even 4-tracked, with Traci playing all tracks, using the free Spire phone app (sound quality varies). Consider this a preview of some her 'raw material'.
On the Photos page she shares interesting images of people and experiences she has had the good fortune to encounter on her 'curious circuitous' path. Follow the links at the right of the page to 'like' or 'friend' her or to view more videos on her YouTube channel (click "show more" at the bottom of the videos to read the full lyrics).
In addition to her new solo venture, 'Sweet T' is also a founding member of Jimbo Darville & the Truckadours, a Denver-based hard-drivin honky-tonkin trucker band. With this band she plays bass, sings and writes original songs about good old American truckers and life on the road. Check em out at truckadours.com, 'like' em on the Facebook..... coming soon to a town near you!
