"THE BROTHERS" are a 6 piece group of seasoned musicians dedicated to preserving the sound and experience of THE ALLMAN BROTHER'S BAND. The group has played venues ranging from Chicago's House of Blues to the Phases of the Moon Concert in Danville Ill. Their first concert was the entire Allman Brothers "Live at the Fillmore" performed at The Pageant in St. Louis and they're continually adding more and more material to the repertoire.
Lead singer Danny Liston and bassist Dickie Steltenpohl of "Mama's Pride" were the back-up band for Gregg Allman in 1978. Additional members Steve Pecaro (guitar), Harold Draper (B3-piano), James Comparato (guitar), James Jackson (drums) have also worked, toured or recorded with such notables as Chuck Berry, Johnnie Johnson, Charlie Daniels, Loggins & Messina, Steven Stills, Ahmet Ertugen, Jim Gaines, Pete Mayer, Uncle Tupelo, The Guess Who, PM, Johnathon Butler, Kenny Aronoff, Toby Myers, Kim Massey, Anita Jackson, American Dollar, Phil Driscoll and the list goes on.......
