- Topper is an Atlanta GA based band that has been touring worldwide and recording for over 30 years. They can cover virtually any style of popular music true to form vocally and instrumentally. Topper's original music is hard driving, guitar oriented rock & soul, featuring the five octave range of singer, Pete George and fellow Topper franchise member, bandleader/guitarist/vocalist, David Rodé.

“Review For 'Holding On' "The guitar part was magnificent. The effect on the guitar gave it a mystical sound with such warmth backing it up. The vocals reminded me of possibly a Boston or similar band from that era. Very catchy lyrics and chorus. The transitional periods of music were very intricate and pleasant to hear. The song progressed with a great tone. The drums kept a simple beat in the background and keep me tapping my foot. The vocals were really what kept my attention though. Complimented with the guitar's sweet tone, the vocals were loud and proud in this song."”

- Topper ROCKS The East Ellijay Pourhouse and Raises The Bar!On 09.22.13, In LIVE!, Music Performances, by tnewmanFirst the Topper Duo came and performed at the East Ellijay Pourhouse, then last night the full band performed. WOW! Wowee Woweeeee WOW WOW! It wasn’t an amazing performance, it was a non-stop string of amazing performances of musical & vocal talent and showmanship. These guys are truly great.They sound like the record, sometimes BETTER! Pete George has an amazing vocal range and sounds like many of the greats. Remember that “Is it real or is it memorex?” commercial? Is it real or is it Topper?He played the guitar with his teeth! David Rode strolled out into the audience accompanied by his wireless guitar and flawlessly played Santana while playing with his teeth, tongue, guitar behind his back… he used the freak’in BAR as a PICK!! What the…? He’s like… he’s like a guitar maniac! That is until he picks up an acoustic 12 string and accompanies Pete or is it Willie Nelson singing “You are always On My Mind” Talk about versatility!!!What can I say, these guys are a MUST SEE and the Pourhouse is a great place to see them,, stay tuned I’m sure they’ll be back.
