Troy Elizondo is a Guitarist/Songwriter of Mexican origin, born in Monterrey NL on December 5, 1986.
He currently lives in Los Angeles, California and is a guitarist of the band Stonebreed. He started playing guitar since he was 11 years old playing with several bands on differnt genres of Rock and Heavy Metal. When he was 12 years old, he started his first original music project. When he was 14 years old, he formed his first MetallicA tribute called "AlcohollicA", they still keep playing at least once per year. Throughout his career he has shared stage with Ratt, Warrant, LA Guns, Lita Ford, Coda, Stryper, Kixx, Robin Zander (Cheap Trick), Rhino Bucket, Skid Row, John Corabi, Ron Keel, Danger Danger, Queensryche, Femme Fatale, Burning Rain, Steelheart, Sebastian Bach, Dark Tranquillity, Luzbel, Toxic Holocaust, Genitallica, and more.
Troy has played alongside vocalist Tim "Ripper" Owens (ex-Judas Priest) as his guitarist on a tour that he had in Mexico in 2012.
Also, in his current band, Stonebreed, he was sharing the stage playing alongside Chris Holmes (ex-WASP) for 5 months. Troy has toured with Stonebreed playing with with big international bands, for Arizona, Utah, Denver, Nebraska, Chicago, California, Nevada, Florida, etc. Also with its previous poryectos had the opportunity to tour traveling the Country of Mexico with strong bands of Rock / National Metal. He is currently working on the second Stonebreed record with the other members in Hollywood, California, and at the same time is recording and producing other 2 projects more, starting his career as a Producer / Songwriter.
