Worries Outernational are one of the leading soundsystems pushing reggae and dancehall music in Ireland, entertaining crowds at home and abroad since 2003. Well known for their long standing Saturday club 'Reggae Fever,' as well as 'Dancehall Styles' formerely on Sunday in the Temple Bar Music Centre, the Worries crew have been giving reggae a weekly home in Dublin for over 12 years.
Regulars know to expect a crucial mix of roots, revive, digital and dancehall styles when Worries pass through. Comprising 5 long-time reggae 'selectors,' the crew is firmly rooted in the Sound System tradition, with each member bringing their own style and flavour to the mix. All are well known on the club scene in Ireland with a solid reputation for top quality reggae music.
Worries are no stranger to the festival circuit either and have been involved in Body & Soul, Townlands Carnival, The Life Festival, Spirit of Folk, Sundown Gathering, Mantua, Sibin and the 'Trenchtown' area of the Electric Picnic to name but a few. Frequent trips to play in the UK & Europe keep the crew in tune with the wider reggae world, and provide vital links for dubplate specials and guests to perform back in Dublin.
