Jasmin Rhia began playing music at the age of 10 in Atlanta. Here is where she first picked up the violin at Morris Brandon Elementary and continued to play at Dr.Phillips High School. In 2008 Jasmin was accepted into the School of Music program at Florida International University. During her second semester she began wriiting, recording, and performing locally. After graduating FIU in 2011, Jasmin relocated to Los Angeles to work behind the scenes composing and songwriting. In late 2015, Jasmin had a near-death experience working in San Francisco. Dealing with the burdens of depression and anxiety, Jasmin began a spiritual journey to find peace. Reborn, she now teaches the youth about self-worth through musical healing. Hey Tribe! I've finally started a GoFundMe to help raise mental health awareness amongst the youth. My goal is to raise enough funds to produce a positive album and musical video series titled "Know your Worth". With the majority of entertainment promoting violence, depression, sex, materialism, and addiction, the well-being of this generation is at risk if their remains a lack of positive guidance and enrichment in the content they consume. Using the power of music, my dream is to provide a positive platform where the youth can learn the importance of mental health in a fun manner.
If you could support this cause by making a donation or sharing it with your network, I would greatly appreciate it. I know that money can be tight, so please know that anything helps me get closer to my goal. Thank you kindly!
